Take another look at the images in the News Challenge widget; the group is growing more diverse and we have every expectation that will increase in next year's contest.

@Richard, You can use the "unsubscribe" link at the foot of the e-mailed newsletter to manage your subscription too. It would not actually unsubscribe you without taking some successive steps. Since the link is generated uniquely for each e-mail sent, it's not part of the web version of the e-mail. If you wish for me to administratively change it for you, please just send an e-mail to web@knightfoundation.org and I'll take action as directed.

Mr. Meyer,

Maybe you need a copy editor. Your opener, "Heads up," should not have an apostrophe.

The panel of head shots on the opening screen looks kind of lilywhite, doesn't it?
